SIGMOD/PODS 2025 is happy to offer two excursions for spouses and partners of conference attendees.
Visit Charlottenburg Palace:
Charlottenburg Palace (Schloss Charlottenburg) is – with the Old Palace and the New Wing – the largest and most significant palace complex in Berlin, stemming from the former Brandenburg electors, Prussian kings, and German emperors. It was among the favorite retreats of seven generations of Hohenzollern rulers, who repeatedly redesigned individual rooms with luxurious interior décor while also having sections of the gardens transformed into royal grandeur.

What does your booking include?
With your booking you are welcome to join the guided tour through the palace. You will receive a day-ticket Berlin AB for public transportation to get from the hotel to the event venue and back to the hotel. It is valid the entire day, so you can use it to further explore the city on your own.
Guided City Tour “Berlin Walks”:
This award-winning walking tour includes all of the main sights of Berlin. From the Brandenburg Gate to the UNESCO World Heritage Museum Island, experience the best that Berlin has to offer in just one tour.
