Schengen Visa
You may apply for Schengen Visa from between 6 months and generally no later than 15 days before your planned trip. You will need to make an appointment at the German embassy/mission in your country beforehand. Please see the link below for an application form for a Schengen visa online:
Once you have filled out the form, it needs to be printed and you will need to bring it with you to the appointment at the German embassy/mission in your country. Processing time takes about 14 working days but could be also longer during peak travel times.
ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorization System)

Invitation Letter for Visa application required?
To receive an invitation letter, you must first register for the conference. During the registration process, you will have the option to request an invitation letter. Once your registration fee has been paid, you can request the Invitation Letter via a button in your registration profile. The letter will then be automatically sent to the email address you provided.
